System Components

Our SkinAnalyzer package consists of everything you need to get started. Simply install the programme on your computer, attach the supplied camera, activate the programme (either on-line or via fax) and you're ready to get going.

The Software

The software is the heart of the system. It requires Windows XP or Vista, as well as the bundled camera to work properly. After the programme is installed and run for the first time, the programme automatically calibrates the camera using the supplied calibration card to get proper, reproducable results. The interface is streamlined and easy to use, so no training with the programme is required.

USB Microscope

USB Microscope

The microscope requires a free USB port to connect to a computer. It provides a high quality video feed which the software then analyses.

Foil

Consumables (Foil, Cards)

The procedure requires the use of disposable foil with an adhesive cyanoacrylate coating to procure the skin samples, as well as the special cards used to get uniform results. The package comes with an initial 50 of each and additional foil and cards may be ordered in our online store.
